Description: Mopar Bushing Remove-Install Tool C-3710A, B- and E-Body Upper Control Arm To remove bushing: Assemble tool as shown on outside of control arm. Oil the threads. The nut will pass through the control arm. Hold outer nut with wrench, or place outer nut in a shop vise, tightening vise only enough to keep the assembly upright. Tighten inner nut with wrench or socket wrench. Do Not use an impact wrench. When the bushing is pressed into the tube, hold the control arm from falling. Since the bushing has an interference fit with the control arm, a breaker bar and deep socket may be needed to tighten inner nut. To install bushing: Place tool on inside of control arm and press the bushing in by tightening inner nut, holding outer nut with a wrench or in a vise. Do not use an impact wrench. Do not oil or grease bushing, but a small amount of oil or grease on threads of the inner turning nut is helpful. Press the bushing in until the outer flanged end seats on the control arm.
