Agnes Meyers ran a gift shop in San Antonio in the 1920s-1940s and she would paint Texas scenes on pottery and small paintings and sell them in her gift shop which are very collectible. There has never been anything of this scale found and it was purchased from an estate which claims to have had commissioned her to execute this wonderful scene.
