Description: This amazing reverse-painted glass sign was displayed in the major fountain pen store in Copenhagen, called Fyldepenne Magasinet (translates to “fountain pen magazine”), in the 1930s-1940s. This sign indicates that the store repairs all of the brands listed with original parts. “Vi repararer med originale reservedele” translates to “we repair with original spare parts.” Measures 16 ½ inches x 37 ½ inches. The sign features the actual logos of the most popular selling pens from the times in Denmark, including, "Parker, Eversharp, Sheaffer, Montblanc, Big Ben, Waterman, Burnham, Penol, and Skribent." Excellent original unrestored condition obtained from a Danish collector in Copenhagen. This beautiful sign is very delicate so it is for sale for pickup only in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
