Description: Moina is water flea, classified as a small invertebrate species of crustacean or called Crustacean with scientific name Moina macrocopa, a type of zooplankton which measures 0.4-1.8 mm. The female red mite is larger than the male with a fleshy almost round body with an average size of 1.3 mm. The average size is 0.5 mm, and the larvae that come out of the egg sac of the new mother are 0.22-0.35 mm in size. In optimal environmental conditions, red mites have a male population of 5% and females 95%, which is considered to be much higher than that of males.
