Description: Gorgeous 14ct gold modernist earrings with a geometric textured design. The earrings have post and butterfly backs for pierced ears. They likely date to the 1970’s. Approximate dimensions: a good sized stud at 1.7 x 1.7cm (almost square) and a combined weight of 5.7 grams. Marks: the back of the body of one earring is marked 585 and the other 14k, for 14 carat gold. The posts and butterfly backs are 9ct gold. Condition: excellent, lovely quality. These earrings were originally clip-on and have been converted by a jeweller to be worn comfortably by those with pierced ears.
