Author Biography MADHUMANGAL PAL is Professor at the Department of Applied Mathematics, Vidyasagar University, West Bengal, India. He completed his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. His areas of research include algorithmic and fuzzy graph theory, fuzzy matrices, fuzzy algebra, genetic algorithms, and parallel algorithms. Under his supervision, 34 research scholars have completed their Ph.D. theses. An author of 10 books and over 330 research articles, Prof. Pal is the Editor-in-Chief of the Annals of Pure and Applied Mathematics and Journal of Physical Sciences and is on the editorial boards of several renowned national and international journals. He has completed three research projects funded by the University Grants Commission, the Department of Science and Technology, India, and is currently working on an ongoing project. He has delivered invited talks at seminars and conferences held in India and abroad, including the UK, Greece, China, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, UAE, and Thailand. Prof. Pal is a member of several academic bodies, viz.
