It was thin, high performance and reliably. The date changing mechanism is most unique with a spring loaded striking mechanism to change the date instantly, in a brink of eyes. The back is pressed in with water proof O-ring. If you know how expensive a Swiss-made diver case costs, you know how remarkable this watch came together. The case is 36.5 mm in diameter and 41 mm from lug to lug. The bracelet width is 20 mm. It is fitted with an authentic Hamilton gold plated, solid link, bracelet. This bracelet is in nice and clean condition and it matches the dial ver well. It will fit up to 7 1/4" wrists. I build and restore vintage automatic watches as a hobby using my knowledge in precision engineering and aesthetics. All my watches are freshly lubricated, timegrapher regulated, and cleaned to restore the pleasure of wearing a vintage watch with its full functionalities and timing performance. I do not use Chinese-made parts, even the spring bars are Swiss Made. It keeps very accurate time, as expected from a well running ETA 2472 movement. Serviced, lubed, and time regulated. Even though this is a diver watch, I do not recommend go diving with it. The pressed-in back is water proof but I don't know how deep. The crown fits and has an O-ring for water proof. However, I did not test its water proof capability. Keep it from water even though I am sure that some water splash over it will be fine. It is medium size for a classical look, not those outlandish large but cheaply made watches flooding the store. The sale is final. I will provide a three-month free repair service. The buyer only one way shipping back to me and I will fix it up and send it back for free. The shipping within the US is with USPS for $8.50 and I will add extra insurance without extra cost to the buyer to protect its full value. International shipping at actual cost with insurance.
