They were published for GREETINGS as well as BEST WISHES. This is a nice mixture of postcards showing GEORGE WASHINGTON and his life. These are PAINTINGS STYLE and they show a portrait of him, one with his mother, another with his home at Mount Vernon, and one with his family. This is a nice group of antique and vintage postcards. One of them is EMBOSSED and has GOLD TRIM in the design. These are collector items because of their age, their colorful design, and their overall appeal to those collecting Washington and Patriotic antique postcards. They also have a nice glimpse of life back in that era. The postcards are UNPOSTED (3) and POSTED (1) with a cancel date of 1909. These postcards have DIVIDED backs. These postcards were "Made in USA". These are BETTER POSTCARD and good for a collector. The postcards will keep their value! They are sleeved and in good condition. However, please expect some creases, cuts, stains, paper toning, and edge wear due to their age (over 100 years old!). The photos show the postcards and their backs.
