Description: Stanley G12-220 England 2" X 7" Block Plane Fresh from a local estate sale. Everything works like new. I have lightly cleaned and inspected it for damage. It is in perfect condition 10 out of 10. The sole had some stains from sitting on top of a can and I cleaned that up a bit. One thing lead to another and I before I knew it, I had cleaned the entire sole. The cheeks were about perfect, with some crud on the bottom edges, which I've cleaned. The rest was a disassemble, wash with a soft tooth brush and soap and reassemble. No problems to report. Actually, there are no apologies whatsoever on this plane. Please see the pictures for the condition of this item. Keep in mind that some of them are extreme close-ups for your convenience and show the minute nooks and crannies of these items. My promise to you is that all you will find there is a little dirt. And just for the record, the original paint is about 100% in-tact and the color is black. It truly is a Mint example, which is sharp and will cut as-is. If you want "Scary Sharp", then the honing will be up to you. I rate this item in Mint Used Condition.
