He was a Catholic priest, and loved to travel. He had friends in Ireland and traveled there a few times in the 1970s, 80s and 90s. I’m quite sure he would’ve bought these on a trip to Ireland, as he often bought crystal while he was there. I don’t think these glasses were ever used. The glasses have no chips or flaws and are in excellent condition.The foot edge of the glasses are etched "Galway" and "Irish Coffee" at the top. Height is 5 1/2". Thanks for looking!
