Description: Vintage miniature print entitled “Vale of Aylesbury Steeple Chase.” Age of print is unknown, but it appears vintage. Print is after a painting by British artist F.C. Turner (1795-1865). Frame measures approximately 5 1/4” wide and 4 1/4" high. Print appears to be in very good used condition with yellowing, fading, and spotting. Print has not been examined outside of frame. Frame appears to be made of wood or similar material covered in plastic. Frame is in fair to good used condition with signs of wear, such as scratches, scrapes, nicks, chips, abrasions, and indentations. Corners of frames seem tight and fit together well. Paper backing has tears, punctures, and abrasion marks. Paper backing is also separated from the frame across the top and there is dried adhesive residue from a sticker. Estate sale find.
