Description: Original Signed Antique Artwork depicting the Middletown Ohio Train Depot. This watercolor at some point has been matted and framed (see photo of tape on the back side.) It was painted by local resident and artist/water-colorist Bill Rehse, now deceased. Although the train depot and dress of the people depicts an earlier turn-of-the-century midwestern time period, the painting dates to sometime in the early 1960's and is from an old photo perhaps. The train depot is a central landmark to the main downtown in Middletown and is still standing today. Thie painting has some wear and age. There is light staining, tiny flecks and speckles (mostly in the outside border area which would be hidden underneath matting), and some overall fading - yet has no tears or holes and as ah artwork remains visually intact. It measures 19" x 14"; the image area itself, 16" x 11". The painting will ship rolled in a mailing tube.
