It’s upper case with two tambour doors opening to a compartmentalized interior and fold out writing surface over two long drawers with brass ring pulls and inlaid accents. Also, a secret drawer under top shelf. A Beacon Hill collection label in top drawer.(piece # 83.) Manufactured by Kaplan to create reproductions of furniture pieces from the historic Beacon Hill homes. This desk is in good vintage condition with typical wear, including spilled wax in the secret drawer that adds to the vintage appeal. One of the tambour doors have been repaired. Overall a very beautiful piece.
