Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION Hello, I am selling a used Microsoft XBOX DVT-4 Development Kit with the AV cable and power cord (no controller, sorry). I picked this up in 2011 along with 2 other development kits and 2 debugging units from an individual that previously worked for Microsoft Game Studios. Functionality: The console powers up and functions without issues. It's been in storage for over 10 years, and amazingly, the disc tray opens and closes easily and doesn't stick. The DVD drive also works well. I tested it with retail copy (yes, a retail copy, it's all I had at hand...) of Teen Titans for about 10 minutes and it works without problems..Cosmetics: Overall, this console in good physical condition especially considering it was used commercially. It's not perfect, but there are no cracks or deep scratches in the shell. However, it has been opened at some point before I acquired it.. I've never attempted to work on this console. It was initially used for display and then put into storage when I had to move into an apartment. Please refer to the photos of the bottom of the console and you will see the stickers have been cut to access the case bolts. Also, the top jewel is not in great shape. There seem to be some internal skuffs in the jewel. Please see the close photos of the jewel for details.Software: This console appears to have been wiped at some point previous to the time I bought it. it does not appear this unit has any game builds on it. No, I haven't attempted to recover anything from the HDD. I just collect and display systems. I don't possess the knowledge to work on these systems. Strangely, there seems to be a retail game loader on this system and it does work. I loaded up a retail copy of Teen Titans and it worked without issue. PACKING AND SHIPPING This system will be wrapped in a combination of 5/16" bubble and 1/2" bubble along with extra padding for void fill. The system ships in a 17" x 17" x 10" Uline corrugated box rated to withstand 75lbs PSI before crushing. It's a bit of overkill, but it's a rare system and I want to make sure it makes it to you looking like it does in the pictures.
