Description: Michel Barbier Vallauris Abstract Bird Plate France MCM 1970s Handsome abstract bird done in glazes and sgraffito on a gray background, by Michel Barbier, who worked at Atelier Le Mûrier in Vallauris. Marked with his trademark abstract bird monogram on back, with a 1979 dedication. The heavy redware plate is 9 7/8 inches wide and weighs 1 lb 12 oz (shipping weight 4 lbs). Condition: Excellent. There is a bubble in the dark brown rim at 7:00 o'clock, as shown. This is original to manufacture. Please view the detail photos. Domestic shipping is $7.95.
