MGC Full Scale Cap Firing Replica Thompson M1921 EXC++ Cond With FBI Case

Description: Here is an MGC - MODEL GUN CORPORATION non-firing replica of a Thompson Submachine Gun Caliber 45 with case and round drum for sale. It is a Model 1921 in Excellent + condition. Please see the photos for more details on the condition. It has the horizontal forearm, compensator, and a stick magazine. This MGC Thompson is a very well-built modelgun, with no weaknesses, and with strong, consistent springs. The MGC Thompson is very detailed and heavy. The gun itself is full metal, a zinc alloy which is a lot stronger than ABS, and the shoulder stock and hand grip are real wood. This gives the model a good hefty weight of 5.5kgs. The barrel is finned, which on the real gun was to aid cooling, and has a cutts compensater on the barrel end to reduce felt recoil. This model also has an adjustable rear sight and it has a matt black finish. This is a really solid model that looks and feels good the moment you pick it up. There are a very few, very minor scratches in the metal finish, I tried to get photos of them. The rear wooden grip has some very, very minor dents, but the finish is intact. The Model Gun Corporation made just two versions of the Thompson magazines the "xx" and the "xl" the 20 round "stick" magazine and the "50" round drum. (actually, the MGC version only holds 39 rounds) THE MGC THOMPSON SUBMACHINE IN THIS AUCTION HAS ONE 39-ROUND, ROUND MAGAZINE INCLUDED. The magazine is constructed nicely out of stamped and blued steel and appears to be the real article, however, they do not have the patent dates or nomenclature that the originals possess. The MGC versions of the Thompson magazines usually are unmarked in any way, shape or form. This MGC Thompson uses a “paper cap" type .45 cartridge which was just a solid brass cartridge with a machined hole, (no moving parts) that you stuffed with "paper caps”. THERE ARE NO CARTRIDGES INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. This replica model of the real Thompson submachine is in wonderful condition. Also included in the auction is a custom made FBI-style carrying case in like new condition. This is really something to behold, for the detail work is incredible and the craftsmanship is astounding.
