Description: This is a used Mettler Toledo JB203-C Caratbalance. This is a highly precise scale/balanced used for measuring gems, diamonds, gem stones and more. Measuring resolution is 0.000. It has a 255 carat (51 grams) capacity and the measuring area is fully enclosed with glass to prevent external forces from affecting the measurement. The unit properly powers on properly when plugged in, I measured several pieces of jewelry (not included) and the scale properly reported the weights and zero'd out properly when they were removed. There is a bubble level on the rear along with adjustable legs to properly level the balance. I do not have any history on when the balance was last certified, certification and accuracy are not warranted in any way as it's the operators responsibility to ensure that scales are inspected as per regular laws and regulations. Unit will be packed well for shipping and the glass doors will be taped to prevent them from opening during transit. The glass enclosure can also be removed if you do not want to use it all the time, it lifts right off the unit without the need to remove any fasteners.
