Description: 9.25" plate by CH Field Haviland, Limoges for the Metropolitan Museum of Art In the Meissen pattern embossed basket weave rim with scattered flowers The center has a tied bouquet of flowers with multi-colored moths over green grass finished with a brown rim. This plate is reminiscent of designs created by the famous Hungarian producer Measurement 9.25" diameter 1 lb 1.2 ounces weight Labeled: Metropolitan Museum of Art Reproduction of a hard paste porcelain plate made at the Royal Saxon Manufactory at Meissen about 1735 CM Field Haviland Limoges France Robert Haviland and C. parlon have been using this mark since 1941 when it purchased the mark from a company called Gerard, Dufraisseix and Abbot which was derived from the original Charles Field Haviland company. Robert Haviland was the grandson of Charles Field Haviland. There is crazing, not sure if that would be considered a crack, on front and back as shown in photos. The price reflects this.
