Description: History of the Me-264 Amerika bomber project. Designed with transatlantic range to bomb US cities from European airbases but did not proceed beyond prototype aircraft phase. One of several volumes from the Osprey X-planes series that I collected prior to realizing that there was too much overlap with other books in my collection. Nice books with 80 pages on these generally lesser known subjects. Good photos supplemented with artwork in the usual Osprey style.
