Description: W107 Chrome Bumper - Front Item: W107 Chrome bumper removed from a '73 W107 Convertible in the central valley of California (hot and dry climate). Fits: All W107 models from '72-89 Includes: Complete front bumper with all 4 brackets and mounting hardware from brackets to bumper. See photos for what this listing includes. This bumper has the DOT steel bar reinforcement structure, likely done in '72 or 73 when the car was imported to the USA. Condition: Chrome is in very good condition for the age. This was clearly a garage-kept car. The chrome is very reflective, with only very minor flaws here and there. There are very fine scratches that really can't be seen in the photos. Significant flaws are shown where the left front bumper horn was hit and significantly bent. In the process, the chrome was dented and scratch in a few place. Please see the photos. There is minimal pitting and micro-pitting that I see on most old chrome bumpers of this age. No rust. Chrome is better than shown in the photos. No reason for any rechrome work unless you want to build a Pebble Beach car. Structure. The bumper has no damages from impact except for a small "dings" related to the bumper horn deformation. There is no rust anywhere except of the support metal pieces you can not see unless you are under the car. These have a dull browning look, typical of California parts. See photos. The rubber pieces are good. There are a few small damages and flaws. They are not dried out and have some shine like new rubber. See the photos.
