Description: Meito China Pattern MEI371 Gold Encrusted Flowers with swirls and gold trim, circa 1930, Art Deco period. Five-piece place setting (five place settings available, sold separately). The photos in this listing are specific to lot #1. In the photos, the place setting is shown in descending order with measurements included: dinner plate, salad plate, bread/dessert plate, saucer, cup. The close-ups are intended primarily to show the fading of the gold trim. Also some non-fading is shown to indicate what the trim would look like in good condition. All are in the same condition- as follows:Dinner plates (9 7/8") are in the best condition, with some minor fading of the gold trim on the edges.Salad plates (7 3/4") are also in good condition, again with some minor fading of the gold trim on edges. One salad plate has a pin-point flea bite on the side, which will be shown in the photos. Bread/Dessert plates (6.5") show a little more fading of the gold trim around the center and the edges, also shown in photos.Saucers (5.5") show more wear, but not evenly...one side appears much more worn than the opposite side. See photos.Footed Cups (3 7/8") are in fairly good condition, one cup has significant fading on one side (see photos). Pricing is discounted due to noticeable imperfections.
