Description: This is a Nice Branched deer antler dog chew. This is the actual piece you will receive. It weighs approximately 5.5 oz. Dogs often prefer antlers that they can hold better than straight piece dog chews. All edges have been sanded to avoid sharp edges also I remove sharp nubs from near the base because allot of dogs don't like them. From a fresher antler. Nothing with cracking or chalkiness. Most deer antlers are a little easier to chew out toward the ends but quickly get very dense toward the main beam which makes them last a long time. You can use the Green 1" squares to judge the length of the chew. More expensive chews are heavier These provide great minerals for the dog and they are long lasting. Best of all most dogs love them. Also these do not splinter like some other bones. These are also great for any rodent that you may have including mice, hamsters, squirrels, etc.Please make sure you buy antlers that are on the big side and not on the small side. I usually take them away when they get to be of small size as they can be a choking hazard. Also be sure to supervise your pet and make sure they grind them down slowly and dont try to crack them with there teeth. Warning: Antlers can and do cause slab fractures on some dogs. Anything hard has the potential to do this so keep this in mind and supervise your dog when chewing these. Also it is best to use a large chew that they cannot clamp down on. Maybe talk to your Vet about these. These are all 100% naturally shed antlers that my lab and I, and my shed gathering friends collect. They are not treated in any way.
