Description: This Block Chromatics plate, designed by Gerald Gulotta, (American), was designed in 1970 and produced in 1972-1973 in Bavaria, Germany. This pattern consisted of boldly colored sculptural pieces in porcelain that wrre designed to stack and fit together with their concave and convex edges. This design sits in several museums but this one is for sale! The plate is blue, measures approximately 7 7/8" in diameter and 7/8" in height. Flat design, this plate is in excellent vintage condition with no chips,, cracks or crazing.
