Description: Vintage McCoy Pottery Jingle Jar. This was designed for UpJohn to hold Unipet dog and cat nutritional treats. There is a bell in the lid to call your pet to come get their vitamins! This measures approximately 5" across and 5 1/2" high. It has no chips or cracks but does have some cosmetic issues. There are brown spots/stains throughout. The base and bottom have crazing lines and the handle of the lid has a chip from manufacturing which is under the glaze. The bottom says "Unipet Upjohn". This matte finish lid in mustard yellow and the bottom bowl is cream with brown cat and dog stylized images. Designed in the mid-late sixties, it would great in your mid-century home even if you don’t have pets! Please see our photos as they are part of the description.
