Description: Mavaleix Limoges Hand Painted Art Deco Red Green Purple Butterfly & Floral Plate Pretty porcelain dessert plate. Nicely decorated with an Art Deco floral and butterfly pattern in purple, green, red and gold gilding. Overall ivory background. Marked on the reverse in green France PM De M Limoges. This mark was used by Paul Maurice Mavaleix in Limoges France between 1908 and 1914. Also signed on the reverse Wanda West Field 1912. Excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 7 5/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
