The string will pull and the spinner spins real fast. Faster than what it should spin. No voice activation. I even tried to put some slight resistance on the rope to hopefully get it to talk thinking maybe it was a timing issue. No luck there. But besides that which should be commonly expected for its age. To find a music one in a practically pristine box from the 60s is unheard of.
