Matchbox 1-75 Regular Wheel series No. 31C Lincoln Continental All versions with ivory interior, clear windows and unpainted base. The extremly rare transitional metallic gold body ( Superfast colour ), model is very good, small paint marks to body casting lines & on the roof, suspensions works fine. In the hard to find late "F" box which is excellent. Far from beiing mint but still very presentable. The version was made in 1970 after the model was issued with "Superfast" wheels ( and the body colour was changed too ) and a few old RW baseplates where found in storage. Provenance: this model was part of the Ray Bush collection, founder of the legendary "UK Matchbox" Collectors club. Later on display at the Chester Toy museeum, in storage since it's closure in 2002.
