The white cotton is a rougher woven cloth for a more period appearance whilst the tighter woven red cloth acts as a solid backing. A large hood is integrated onto the cape. The cape can be fastened in the front with its thick braided cords. If a more open appearance is desired it can be tied in place with the smaller cords in the back.
