Description: Selling an attic found Marx Postwar Freight Set 52352 engine number 666 NYC New York Central Tender with original box.Pulled this out of a local estate attic. Appears the transformer was rewired . Power cable looks undersized. I plugged it in and set engine on the one piece of track and it started to run. Obviously it may need some adjustment or repair. Appears the cars have had their logos removed or scratch off? No damage to cars but I am NOT an expert. Please see pictures. Box has damage, loose corners, holes but is complete. Older item. Engine is made from cast metal and tender is stamped steel. Also included some telephone poles. At least one damaged. And a almost empty bottle of Marx locomotive liquid smoke.Selling as is.
