No crackling potentiometers anymore, so it's ready for many years of listening pleasure. Naturally, it comes with a PHONO input for a turntable. On AUX, you can connect devices like CD players, TVs, etc., and there are also TAPE connections. Additionally, for an extra cost, it can be equipped with BLUETOOTH and/or Spotify connection, allowing you to wirelessly connect all your mobile devices to this receiver.Comes with a service certificate and 12 months warranty (that's as much as when it was newly delivered!) This quality is unmatched, and this sound is no longer available. Current miniature electronics are not as stable and of high quality as those made in the 70s and 80s. MARANTZ units from this period are therefore a stable investment!In the past, you'd buy a few trade magazines with reviews that were still "unsponsored" (read: honest), and then you'd listen in the store. Nowadays, we have to rely on reviews like those from Coolblue, written by amateurs who get excited about a Sonos. They won't set foot in your house once you've heard a vintage MARANTZ. Any MARANTZ built between 1954 and 1980 will produce a noticeably better sound than you're used to hearing. It's no wonder that in most recent RECEIVER top 10 lists, there are no less than 3 vintage MARANTZ models. The simplest "baby-MARANTZ model 2015" with its "mere" 15W already delivers an unparalleled sound and with its beautiful blue scale lighting and meters, it's a joy to behold. As you go up in models, you get more sound adjustment options and the wattage increases. This isn't necessarily to annoy the neighbors (though it would do that just fine), but mainly to increase the depth in the lower frequencies. Experts say that to accurately reproduce the sound of scissors, about 1000 watts are needed. The more watts, the more detailed the sounds can be reproduced.
