Description: Vintage & Rare Majorette Toyota Land Cruiser & Horse Trailer, 1:36, Diecast, Made in France. NOTE: I am selling these as a set, but I am not certain they were paired originally. The undercarriage-frame on each is vastly different, as are the tires and wheels, so perhaps they were manufactured in different years. Another caveat: The trailer is not towable due to a broken hitch. Year of manufacture unknown, but maybe the 1980s or 1990s? These were among my dad's vast collection of used toys, which he amassed between 1977 and 1999. Toyota Land Cruiser: 4.5"L x 2"W x 2"H. Weighs 5 oz. Scale is ECH 1/36. The body and undercarriage/frame are diecast metal. The remaining components are plastic. The spare tire swivels to the right, allowing access to the rear hatch which opens upward. All 4 mounted tires roll and their tread shows little wear. Interior is intact and clean. The toy is in decent shape overall, but does have tiny spots of missing paint throughout and its horse decals show wear. Horse Trailer 3.75"L x 2.25"W x 2.5"H. Weighs 3.5 oz. Scale is ECH 1/36. The body of the trailer is metal, but the undercarriage is plastic. Only a few spots of missing paint on this one. All four tires roll and look unused. The side and rear ramps are intact and working. The plastic canopy has some marks on its roof, especially along one of its ribs. It looks worse in the photo than it does in person. The canopy does, however, have a tiny stress crack at left rear, just to the left of the blue nub that holds it in place (see second-to-last photo). Despite this, the canopy is securely fastened to the trailer at all four corners. The trailer's other flaw is its broken hitch, which renders it untowable. A creative do-it-yourselfer could remedy this, I'm sure. SEE ALL PHOTOS. I am a hobby seller, not a dealer.
