They played in the Pinckney Division of the short-season Class A New York - Penn League and were affiliated with the Cleveland Indians. In 2004, they won the New York - Penn League championship. In many seasons since moving from Erie, Pennsylvania, the Scrappers have averaged over 4,000 fans per game. They are now a collegiate summer baseball team of the MLB Draft League.
