AS A RESULT, MAGNUS IS A HOUSEHOLD NAME TO CONTINUED GENERATIONS OF FANS! THESE OLD 12-CENTERS HAVE GREAT PAINTED COVERS, AND FEATURE THE HEROIC ROBOT DESTROYER IN 4,000 A.D.! This character is well known to fans and dealers alike, as a hot multi-series star, from the silver-age to present. It's a real treat to behold when the cover is unblemished by such pesky detractors as rips or writing or chipping or staple-pops, etc. In addition to the timelss cover, showing Magnus against Bunda the Great, the interior is drawn by Russ Manning, with colorful art which is top quality. If you like films such as Terminator and I, Robot, then you can appreciate that such themes began with Magnus! It doesn't get much better than this! This original first-print comic-book WILL find a new home, as the asking price is low and there is NO RESERVE! This historic comic is a real find in unrestored fine or better shape, as most copies were read, and re-read, time and time again, and attrition was high, plus, with the glossy dark cover, even the tiniest dings and flaws show up. This copy is clean with no distracting major severe wear or aging, and it has precise printing registration, plus the paper quality is excellent too. Just some light edge/surface flaws, primarily just spine-stress, keeping it from high-grade standards. Interior looks almost unread, and has barely aged in over forty years. Good luck finding this level of eye appeal again in the future, unless you buy a costly certified gem that's forever out of reach in a trendy holder... Note that our scanner makes it appear that there's vertical lines, running up through the right side of the logo, but there are no such light lines or scratches.
