The MMS Series retains all the built-in protection and reliability of the popular ME and MS models while being smaller lighter and less expensive. The MMS1012-G model comes with a flexible cord on the AC input and a GFCI outlet on the output allowing for easy connection to AC appliances. It is ready to use after connecting to your batteries. Other MMS Series models are designed to be hardwired into the electrical system and do not include the AC cord or GFCI outlet. The MMS Series Inverter/Charger features a Power Factor Corrected (PFC) charger which is 85% efficient. This charger topology is used in all Magnum models and uses less energy from a generator than standard chargers resulting in 25-30% less AC current usage. The MMS Series is ETL Listed to meet the stringent requirements of UL/cUL 458 CSA C22.2 #107.1-01 and the KKK-A-822E standard ensuring its safety and reliability for mobile use.
