Description: DETAILS · This is a beautiful and very unique miniature teapot. It is a mystery as to its age, origin, or purpose. The rich blue glazed pottery base is encased in hand-forged decorative metal. It appears that the top once opened but I could not get it open myself (the hinge is rusty, and it may be rusted shut). It appears very old. Beautiful and intriguing. Good antique/vintage condition. There is light rust at the hinge also. I could find no other notable flaws.
