Description: Madagascar rosewood guitar set, backs are irregularly shaped 8.4 wide, 22 long, sanded to about 0.125 thick. The sides are 32 long, 4.7 to 3.9 wide, sanded at about 0.135 thick. A few saw marks still present. A true dalberiga, mad rose is blessed with some of the longest fibers of any wood, and some believe this is the secret to its legendary taptone. Photographed dry(1st pic) and wetted(other pics) with mineral spirits. Not quartersawn, backs have swirly pin/knot type figure, pale color to set, price reduced due to color, figure, size of sides Being a true dalberigia this wood is wonderfully fragrant when sanded. Nice clean set that will become only rarer. Dry and ready to build after acclimating to your shop. From an old billet(6+ years), recently resawn. Very stable.
