Description: Ludwig Club Date 13” tom early 60’s pre serial numbers silver sparkle, the wrap is faded and has that ginger ale look, some scratches and nicks and light spots on the wrap. Wrap is a little loose at the seam towards the bottom of the drum (please see pics) the shell has White interior, does not have the internal tone control muffler. The tom mount has been replaced with a newer Ludwig mount will include the original as well. Hoops and tension rods are not original, bottom (reso side) tension rods are mixed matched and do not have the washers. No extra holes on this drum. Top batter edges look good and head fits on easy the bottom reso side head fits very tight compared to the batter and the bearing edge has a spot where it’s pretty rough and a bit gouged (please see pics) and a chunk of the wrap came off as well, a cymbal stand fell on it I was told when the head was off, please see pics where I’m pointing it out. I’m not sure if it can be recut or fixed, the drum still sounds pretty good, does have some buzzing when hit hard probably from lug casings. Had plenty of vintage Ludwigs with that buzz and cotton in the lug casings fixed problem. Evans coated UV1 on batter and clear G1 on reso side.
