The set includes 6 elves, 1 pixie, and one snowman. All have pinecone bodies, plastic faces and chenille arms. They range in size from approximately 3” high to approximately 4” high. We don’t know who makes these charming ornaments, but they were hand-crafted in Japan during the 1950’s. Included in this lot are: Elf in red suit. Holds bottle brush tree. Domed base. Snowman - gold pinecone body, top hat & broom. Elf with green hat holding gold staff. Elf with green hat holding ornaments. Elf with yellow hat and beer stein. Pixie with aqua hat and silver tinsel tree. Elf with aqua hat on skis holding spool of ribbon. Elf on skis with yellow hat and bottle brush tree. Condition: Used condition. Ornament 1 shows nothing more than signs of age and normal use. His ornament hanging loop needs to be replaced. Ornament 2 looks like it may have been reglued. There is paint loss around the glue lines and the snowman is looking down, slightly He has his ornament hanging loop but it is broken and would either need to be retied or replaced. Ornament 3 has some fade on the hat and some wear on the staff. The loop is intact. Ornament 4 has holes on the hat where it wore through. It is missing its hanging loop. Ornament 5 shows nothing more than signs of age and normal use. Its loop is intact. Ornament 6 shows nothing more than signs of age and normal use. Its loop is intact. Ornament 7 has a dirty hat. Its loop is intact. Ornament 8 has a tear on the hat. Its loop needs to be replaced.
