Description: You are bidding on a lot of 4 real photographic postcards fresh from a local New England estate. These RPCs are of an infamous San Francisco interracial couple wow owned a shop called 'Relics Dug from the Ruins' on 897 Sacramento St in San Francsico. The husband and wife couple were Wong Sun Yue and Elle May Clemmons and because interracial marriages were so uncommon at the time they were often photographed as a local San Francsico curiosity. One small photograph of the couple sold at Pacific Book Auctions for $108 a while back. This lot includes four and the original envelope they were found in. All postcards are hand captioned in ink.
