Description: Lot of 2 Navajo Ceremonial Wedding Baskets The larger basket has vivid coloring in the traditional polychrome design with twelve-points. Its diameter is 17.5" and the depth is 3.5". Purchased by my dad in 1984. The smaller basket has a 10-point design with a 12.5" diameter and a 2" depth. Probably purchased around the same time (1984) as the larger basket. Both baskets are in good condition. The larger basket has a small gap in the weave near the middle - looks like a tiny piece of the straw (willow?) broke off. Please refer to the photos.
