Description: LOT of 2: 8.5" x 14" Promo poster & its Paste-Up Master for a POISON IDEA show in Portland OR, February 1981, one of the band's very earliest live shows. The paste-up is one of the first examples of outstanding original poster art by the band's singer, Jerry A, who went on to create many other pieces in the same idiom. All of them merit serious consideration as works of commercial graphic art. This paste-up master is still intact, and still in good camera-ready condition. This poster is in mint-minus condition because it was never used. See photos for details. From 1978 to 1981, I helped produce local New Wave and punk rock shows in Portland Oregon, and sometimes I ended up with extra copies of show posters that were never actually posted. I am only selling original posters (or tickets) that were printed between 1978 and 1981 to promote shows I was working on; none of my sale stock is copied or reproduced. In this case I also held onto the paste-up master used by the print shop in 1981.
