These are original 1919 Eagle genaras hardcovers, no marks, no tears, no problems! Note (see photo!) 3 of the pages on one of the books are UNCUT - so its possible that that one of the books was never used. (If it were, they would have cut the page tops, right?!) Our congregation, Brothers of Joseph, have upgraded their Machzors and Siddurs to The Artscroll , and are in the process of upgrading and/or replacing other Sefarim (Holy Books). So, the older ones, like this one, are being repaired if needed, and distributed to congregants and the world at large. Please enjoy this book, a piece of Norwich, Connecticut Jewish history, which was originally given as tzedakah (donation) to the Shul in Honor of those who came before us.
