The first twelve books are from the A Happy Ending Book series and were written by Jane Carruth and illustrated by Tony Hutchings. The last two books are from the Itsy-Bitsies series and were written by Gary Poole and illustrated by Kathleen Smith-Fitzpatrick. The condition of the books ranges from G (good) to VG+ (very good plus), with my rating scale progressing as follows: G . . G+ . . VG- . . VG . . VG+ . . NF- . . NF A book that is in G condition will have more wear than average, but it will not have any flaws that would make it unreadable or terribly unsightly. The cover may be a little soiled and/or tanned from age and will have moderate or more edge wear. The corners may have been bumped. The spine may be a little faded, slanted and/or a little cocked. Clear tape may have been applied at the top or bottom of the spine to repair a small tear. There may be a name, inscription, price or bookstore stamp inside somewhere. The pages will be tight, but they may be less crisp than when new, may show some age tanning, and may have small smudges, stains and corner folds. Two or three pages may have a small edge tear. A book that is in NF condition will be almost like new. The cover may have slight edge wear and the pages may show a little age tanning.
