Description: Parting with a combination of my person and my late grandmother's scarf collection. She worked at a high end dress shop in Pittsburgh during the 50s and 60s and these came from that shop. Up for grabs are 5 pieces--they are pictured above and descriptions are as pictured: 1. A black, white and hot pink with tiny flowers neck scarf that measures 46 inches from point to point (the ends are angled) and 4 inches wide. The piece is doubled and stitched together. I think it is polyester, but it has a silky feel to it. Not branded. 2. This was mine but my grandma bought it for me, it is a red, white and blue check neck scarf. It is 42 inches long from point to point (the ends are angled) and it is 4 inches wide. Like the 1st one, it is also doubled over and stitched together. It is polyester and the one that needs being ironed the most, also unbranded 3.This one is silk--I am almost positive--it is 45 inches long (squared ends) and approx 10 inches wide. It could use a pressing also. I have very vivid memories of my grandma tucking this scarf into her winter coat--she was a fashion plate for sure! Always sharp dressed!! 4. Fashionable babushka--triangular scarf--it is brown with tan x's. It measures 31 inches from widest point to point and 21.5 inches the short side. The edges are starting to fray just a little bit--but overall it is in good shape 5. This is an unusual paisley style print that is various shades of brown , tan and orange. It is stunning! It is 44 inches long (ROUNDED edges) and 8 inches wide. I am pretty sure it is polyester, but it has a nice feel to it!! All are clean and described in detail above--they could use a good ironing. They have a very faint perfume smell--I think my grandmother had sachets with all of her scarves because that is the smell I remember Smoke free home--as I said, there is a faint sachet/perfume smell to them.
