Description: I bought this in the 1960s when I was in college. It has been on my closet shelf unsmoked for 50+ years. Lorenzo pipes of this era were made by Mr. Lorenzo Tagliabue before he retired from the business. Mr. Tagliabue made pipes from top grade Mediterranean briar wood to good quality standards. They have distinctive patinas and are excellent smokers. This pipe does not use a filter. For collectors reference, this pipe is the Varallo 8724 model.
