Description: Vintage Church School Cookbook Lot Baxter Minnesota area. Lot of three (3) vintage cookbooks- all three have been used and show significant signs of wear. Please see photos for condition. Here’s what I know of the books: Book 1: Cookies- this is a handwritten book of recipes. It’s green yarn lacing is falling apart. I estimate it to be from the 1940’s-50’s. It does not have any information other than names under recipes in the book. It does include a typed list of recipes with additional information of where it may have been written. The printed addition states that the book was from a school referenced as District 17 with teacher Karen Horgan. I believe it to be from the Baxter MN area or perhaps Lac Qui Parle. Contains 6 recipes. Book 2: Recipes (booklet perhaps)- this is from the Naomi Circle of the ALCW of Baxter MN. Written in 1965. The cover is stained and torn- the pages are stained and the very middle has come loose. Book 3: Holiday Treats (booklet- pinned together typed construction paper) - this is from the Rachel Circle O.S.L. Church of Baxter. I believe this to be the “newest” book of the group, most likely from the 80/90s. It does not have a date in it. It does not seem to have been used and is in good condition.
