LOOK 585 Large 56cm Carbon Frameset (Cervelo, Trek, Specialized, Ritchey, Canyon

Description: 2008 LOOK 585 *hand made in France*, carbon lugged frameset. Size large - 56cm effective top tube. Frame, carbon fork with full carbon steerer, LOOK carbon steerer cap, original steerer tube internal clamp for carbon forks, Campagnolo ultra torque bottom bracket bearing cups, front derailleur clamp, and seatpost clamp. Frame and fork are in exceptionally good condition. Clear coated carbon weave, LOOK on the frame and fork 12 times! No marks from cable housing rubbing, no marks from wheel rubbing, no marks from dropped chain - the frameset is remarkably clean and free from wear and tear. A couple of small spots, as seen in photos, of very light paint loss. Original Campagnolo sticker on chainstay and original LOOK chainstay protector sticker in remarkably near perfect condition. There are NO cracks or structural damage to the frame or fork, and it has never been crashed. Headset bearings are in excellent condition - steerer turns properly without any sticking or grinding - turns freely and smoothly. All 4 bottle cage bosses are secure. Fork and real wheel drop outs in great condition, rear derailleur hanger is straight. Seatpost clamp fits securely and works correctly - uses a 27.2 seatpost. All cable routing is intact and in perfect condition, including the cable housing routing guides on the steerer tube. Cable routing guide under the bottom bracket in excellent condition. My understanding is that the LOOK 585 was the last hand made in France carbon lugged LOOK. I am the second owner - the original owner was a middle aged woman who rode the bike very little, and it spent most of its time in storage in a dry and dark basement. I am only selling because the top tube is too long for me - I found that I need a medium/54cm. It really hurts me to sell it - I planned on building with a Campagnolo Record 10 groupset. It is in remarkably good condition and will be a pleasure to build and ride. The frameset will be carefully packaged to ensure no damage.
