On the SB 9" the tapper attachment PAD exists but will have to be drilled and tapped to accept a mounting bolt.1/4 - 20 up to 3/8 - 16 size ok. A magnetic probe block allows EASY adjusting of the indicator probe home location by simply sliding the block.If an OVER run (movement in) of the saddle reaches the end of the probe travel, the sliding magnetic block simply slides preventing any damage. IMPORTANT: Dial indicator must be a "Flat Back" indicator to provide clearance for the cross slide.I just cut the "lug" off the back of one of my cheap "Chinese" indicators. Easy to do.
