Ericsson – Type AB 520 Wooden Wall Phone with Ornate Top This phone is a beautiful example of Ericsson of Sweden’s early 1900s wall phones. This phone is in good original condition, as there is some wear on the finish. There is a bright transfer decal in excellent condition on the front. The ornate topper on the phone is intact. The luster of the nickel on the handset and bells has faded, but could likely be polished to a brilliant shine. The handset is in very good condition otherwise, with no damage to the transmitter cup or receiver. The phone could not be opened for internal inspection as I was unable to remove the hand crank, however, the magneto is functional as I shocked myself with it trying to remove the crank. The phone does have the paper clip on the side of the base, but it is slightly damaged. This is an antique item, and has not been refurbished, so some age wear is to be expected.
