Description: This porcelain figurine is a product of NAO. NAO is a brand of the Lladro group, whose pieces are distinguished by the simplicity of their forms and the lighthearted nature of their subjects. All NAO pieces are created by a team of sculptors at the City of Porcelain in the town of Xirivella, in Valencia, Spain. This figurine features a reclining male angel that measures approximately 5 ½” in length by 2 ½” in height. It is stamped on the base with the brown NAO logo and the words, “NAO Handmade in Spain by Lladro Daisa”. Unfortunately the backstamp is smeared and the date of issue is unreadable. On the remainder of the base are a few incised marks one of which reads, “A24-F”. This fine porcelain piece is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, discolorations or any other evidence of damage or flaws.
